My First Python Project

import cheesy_fisher_price_joke

I have decided what my first Python project is going to be. I had a lot of trouble choosing, because I didn’t, and still don’t really, know what Python’s limitations are. But I have decided, so here it is.

I’m going to try and make a very basic address book. Honestly, ‘address book’ is a bit of a stretch, as it’s just a programme that will take information from the user and store it. Then when the user enters another name that is the same as one already in the database, the programme will show all the other information attached to that particular name, rather than have the user input all that information again.

Like I said, very basic, but I think this is a good place to start. It should teach me about file reading/writing, perhaps databases and probably dictionaries. I’ll post the code I come up with.
